Ride For Wellness, 2022
WELCOME TO THE 2022 RIDE FOR WELLNESS!
Join us for the 8th Annual Excel Rehab & Sports Ride for Wellness benefiting the Excel Foundation. The foundation was formed in 2014 to provide much-needed help and support to the most vulnerable in our communities. This is a FREE EVENT; however, we are accepting DONATIONS that will directly benefit health services for our community’s most vulnerable. So, join us and our amazing sponsors for an exciting day of cycling and fellowship. Thank you in advance for your trust and commitment to wellness in our community!
We welcome donations in support of the Excel Foundation with or without ride participation. Because of your support through the years, we have raised more than $18,000 through sponsorships and participation donations. Your financial support and participation have provided direct benefits to area communities.
REGISTRATION
Register by October 20th with a donation of $35 or more and receive this year’s custom-designed RIDE shirt & a Keowee Brewing drink ticket. Registrations will also be accepted after October 20th through our online registration and the morning of the ride, between 7:30 – 8:30 am. We will accept cash and credit card donations on the day of the ride.
All participants are asked to check in the morning of the ride for check in and shirt pick up and again at our central check-in when your ride is complete. We will have therapists on site prior to the ride offering dry needling, stretching and other needs.
THE COURSE
All rides, with lengths 20, 40 and 60 miles, will begin in Norton Thompson Park, Seneca SC at 9:00 a.m and will wind through some of the most scenic and beautiful roads in the Upstate. The ride will end in Norton Thompson Park with Keowee Brewing Company nearby and ready to serve up fellowship, craft brews and eats on the patio!
POST-RIDE ACTIVITIES
As a ride participant you will receive one FREE drink ticket (voucher to be used on the day of the ride). Blue Marble Deli has partnered with Keowee Brewing and has also put together a post-ride combo that includes for the ride day price of $10.
Post-ride combo includes: One large hot pretzel with beer cheese and spicy mustard and a 16oz beer (or 12oz beer for certain brews). Voucher to be used on the day of the ride. Pretzel will be packaged to eat on-site or to go. You are welcome to stay and enjoy some of the new outdoor spaces at Keowee Brewing as well!
